In our Three Tier
Member System, members will be divided into three categories
based on the number of monthly meetings / training sessions they choose to
attend. To track this, a sign-in sheet will be required at meetings, and the
Membership Director will keep up with each member’s current status.
Meeting attendance will be calculated on a rolling 12 month period and not a
calendar year; and each meeting & class will count as one point. The more
meetings a member attends, the more points they will accumulate & therefore
they will be higher on the list for investigation team selection. The tiers are
as follows:
Tier
Level One (Shadow People)
Will be included in all email & mail
communications
May attend monthly meetings as desired and
may advance member status
May not attend investigations
Tier
Level Two (Apparitions)
Will
be included in all email & mail communications
Must attend a minimum of 4 monthly meetings a
year
Must attend 2 monthly meetings before
attending first investigation,
including Intro
to Spirit Seekers Module
Must attend all
Required Modules within 18 months to maintain status
Allowed on Open investigations only,
subject
to the discretion of the Director of Investigations
Tier Level Three (Seekers)
Will be included in all email & mail communications
Must attend a minimum of 7 monthly meetings a
year
Must attend 2 monthly meetings before
attending first investigation,
including Intro to Spirit Seekers Module
Must attend all Required Modules within 18
months to maintain status
Allowed on Open & Closed investigations,
subject to the discretion of the Director of Investigations
Essential Module Classes
In addition to requiring monthly meetings in
order to attend investigations, the system requires each member to attend
the four Essential Module Classes in
order to maintain their membership status. These Modules will include the
following:
Intro to
Spirit Seekers
A general introduction to the history, goals and
procedures of Spirit Seekers.
This
module will familiarize new members with Spirit
Seekers, and what will be expected of them as members.
Basic
Equipment
An overview of the equipment that every ghost
hunter should have.
This module will discuss what equipment is out there, what
is most important, and where it can be found.
How to
Investigate
A step-by-step walk-through of a Spirit
Seekers investigation.
This module will explain what to expect
upon arrival, how to set up equipment, and what they will see & do
throughout the investigation.
Reviewing
Results
A general overview of what kind of evidence you
may find after an investigation.
This module will cover orbs, apparitions of all
kinds, and EVPs.
