After World War II, building activity picked up in North Little Rock. William F. “Casey” Laman, mayor from 1958 to 1972 and 1979 to 1980, spearheaded the construction of ball fields, tennis courts, pavilions, and other park amenities. In the early 1960s, Laman relocated the city’s police and courts headquarters and library (named for Laman) to Pershing Boulevard.
Memorial Hospital also opened on the hill above Pike Plaza.

The old Memorial Hospital in North Little Rock is completely abandoned. The grass grows through the cracks in the sidewalk and the parking lot. To arrive there at night is scary enough, but nowadays, to go inside, is an experience you won't forget.

This picture has what appears to be an ecto mist in the center and to the right.  See the distortion that looks like part of the picture is out of focus?
