The Mortar Creek Cemetery is located outside the city of Greenbrier, Arkansas. It is old well-kept. The descendants of Alexander Hamilton are buried within the area; and the oldest known burial is that of a person that died in 1854. There was a veteran of the War of 1812 buried in the back of the cemetery by an open grave.

Pic by AL	This is a picture of an area where we believe animals may be killed in some sort of ritual. There were rumors of these types of events happening at the cemetery. This area was barren of leaves in a graveyard full of ankle deep leaves. A group of bones were within the circle but only this one shows in the picture.  Pic by AL
