Phenomena captured on film: During this investigation we found very
little scientific signs of a haunting. This was a very clean house. We were not
able to get any photos of typical basic manifestation like orbs. The only tiny
bit of evidence gathered was an EVP or Electronic Voice Phenomenon. A male voice
can be heard answering the question, “What is your name?”
Summation: Due to the fact that investigation was a private residence
and the home was not very large, we used a small group of investigators. A group
of three investigators were used on this investigation. The team psychic (John)
was inserted in to the house at 7 pm with spirit sensitive (Christina). They
were allowed to do their walk through independently while I set up equipment and
interviewed the resident. Upon completion of their psychic evaluation they were
extracted to be interviewed by me individually. During the interview both John
and Christina felt nothing of a paranormal nature existed in the house. John did
say that when he walked in the house he felt the presence of a man but that he
thought it was a residual energy. Christine felt as if it was an older gruff
natured man. Both felt as if the home was clear of spirit activity while we were
there.
I provided a cleansing of the house while I was there. I had the resident
bury her dousing rods and cover them with salt. The house felt clean upon our
departure.
Conclusion: According to the client or resident she had become
depressed about a turn of events in her life and wanted desperately to ask
advice from her deceased Father. She tried using the dousing rods to contact him
and in the process opened the door to an unwanted spirit. This can often be the
case when experimenting with dousing rods, ouija boards and séances. Only
experienced people should work with the rods and then very carefully.
Is the house in NLR, Arkansas haunted? We have a grading system that helps us
to answer such questions. We graded the evidence as follows; scientific evidence
is photos, video, EMF readings, Temperature readings and EVP. On a scale of 0 –
50 we gave the scientific evidence gathered a 5. The evidence was there and it
was fairly weak. Sensory evidence is that of the human five senses and on a
scale of 0 – 25 we gave the sensory evidence a 0. The extra sensory evidence is
the feelings of the psychic and sensitive. On a scale of 0 – 25 we gave the
extra sensory evidence a 5. Both of the psychic and spirit sensitive had had
little or no impressions that the house was occupied by anything other than
Susan, the owner. The grand total for this project is 10. The grading system of
all evidence gathered tells us that there is little or no paranormal activity
happening in Arbour House in NLR, Arkansas. This doesn’t mean that there wasn’t
activity at one time but simply that there wasn’t any while we were
there.
