Angelwood
is a beautiful house located in West
Pulaski
County, Arkansas,
on the south side of the river. It is privately owned and very haunted. The house
is of recent construction but has been proven to be home to at least two spirit
entities and maybe three. This house makes people wonder from where spirits
come. As far as can be determined the house sits on property that has been owned
by the railroads since before
Arkansas
was a state. No bodies have been found on the property and no one has died in
the house, and yet the house is very active.
The owners and others have told of happenings
in the house that have sent some less hearty fellows to flight. They have had
hair pulled, fingers and hands run down their backs, things have disappeared
only to reappear in another area of the house days later and they have heard
voices. It is not uncommon to see the figure of a woman traversing the stairs or
hear the sounds of someone walking in the upper part of the house. Doors open
and close of their own accord.
Sarah, as one of the spirits has become known,
lives or stays upstairs. A man's voice can be heard from time to time in the
living area. The owners have never been harmed but several guests have been
frightened enough to declare they will never stay at this house overnight again.

While sitting in my study one morning getting ready for work, a
little voice told me to take a picture toward the door. I keep a camera
close and it looks like for good reason. |

When I saw what was in the first picture I thought I would take
another. This one was taken less than a minute after the first and in the
same general direction. Does this look like a man standing in the corner
to you, it does to me. |

This is the third picture taken that morning. It was taken less
than a minute after the second picture. The room is clear except for a
large orb. |

I had been upstairs trying to get pictures of Sarah,
our live in ghost, with no results. I started down the stairs when I felt
a cold chill on my neck. After feeling the cold chill I proceeded to the
base of the steps and turned around to take this picture. The orb appears
to be situated on the mid-landing of the stairs and that is the exact
location I felt the cold chill. Sarah has been known to play pranks on
unsuspecting visitors. |
As I walked down
the steps, I felt goosebumps on my neck. When I reached the floor, I
turned and took these photos. All were taken in quick succession.
